A new client of ours recently called to see if it was true that an auxiliary, or AUX input, could be installed directly into his 2004 Honda Accord. His radio had enough things he liked about it that he didn’t want to change it out, but he did not care for the result of the audio quality he was getting with the cheap cigarette lighter plug-in FM transmitter. The sound quality was junk and cords were going everywhere. It was a mess, not to mention they never lasted very long before breaking.
We had him come in for a direct-wired solution from PAC Audio. In no time, we had him taken care of with a quality installation of an AAI-HD3 Honda integration module from PAC Audio. This allowed him to keep his radio and add a 3.5 mm AUX port right in the center console! The sound quality is great since he now has a direct connection that wakes up the AUX button on his radio.
